Genetic test for renal dysplasia (Caution advised)

Breeders – if you are currently using or are considering the use of genetic testing for renal dysplasia you should read the website article “Genetic test for renal dysplasia (Caution Advised)” posted by the Institute of Canine Biology. While breed survey results for the Gordon Setter did not return a frequency of incidence for this disease one should be aware that it can occur in many breeds of dogs.
